One of the leading Software Development Companies in Austria (Vienna), is URGENTLY looking for System Engineer – Web Applications Job Description: - Error free operation and maintenance of all applications. - Development, performing and monitoring the application deployments, the components configuration and the creation of operational handbooks. - Development Teams support during the Specification and Design Phase - The functional- and performance-test environment managment - You create and perform in collaboration with the Stresstest Engineers Performance Tests within the test environment, to analyze the load behavior of the applications in advance. Required skills: - Good English language skills - 5 years of University - Professional experience with Web-Application operation in large environments - 2-3 years Windows 2000/2003 experience - .NET Web-Application Know-How, C# experience is an asset - programming knowledge with VBScript or Powershell/Vbscript or Powershell (to automate administration and configuration tasks of Windows System and IIS) - Basic knowledge of C# and ASP.NET - Good Networking Knowhow (TCP/IP, SSL, especially HTTP, HTTPS, basic understanding of load balancing and routing) - Basic knowledge of System Security (OS Hardening, encryption, certificates) - Good knowledge of Windows Server Administration - User experience of MS Operations Manager (MOM) is an asset Personal skills: - Communicative team player - Self-motivated, responsible - Passionate about web technologies - Company offers: - An exciting and challenging job in a dynamic team - An opportunity to be innovative and to learn - Working with the latest systems and trends at the cutting-edge of technology - A workplace in Vienna city centre International visa sponsorship and relocation support is offered for this role both for candidate and for family members.
